Terms of Service

Last updated 26 October 2026.

1. About this website

This website, autoglasswelly.co.nz (the “Site”), is operated by HĀPAI PARTNERS LIMITED (NZBN 9429053875884) (“we”, “us”). We run an online enquiry service that connects people who need auto glass repair or replacement in the Wellington region with independent local glass providers (“Partners”). By using the Site or submitting an enquiry you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

2. What we do, and what we don’t

  • We take your enquiry and pass it to a Partner who can help. The Partner contacts you, gives you a quote and, if you accept it, does the work.
  • We don’t repair or replace glass ourselves. We are not an insurer, insurance broker or vehicle inspector, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a Partner.
  • Any agreement for the work is directly between you and the Partner. The Partner is responsible for their quote, the work, any warranty, and any complaint about the work.
  • We can’t promise that a Partner will be available, will respond within a particular time, or can help with every vehicle, location or type of damage.

3. How we are paid

We may receive a fee or other payment from Partners for enquiries we pass on. That is how the Site is funded. We don’t charge you anything for submitting an enquiry.

4. Quotes, prices and availability

Prices, timeframes and service details on the Site (including mobile service and service areas) are general and indicative only. The Partner confirms the final price, timing and availability after assessing your vehicle and the damage.

5. General information only

The information on the Site about repairs, replacements, Warrant of Fitness, insurance and driver-assist recalibration is general. It is not professional, safety, legal or insurance advice. Please check with the Partner, your insurer or an authorised inspector. Don’t drive a vehicle you think may be unsafe.

6. Insurance claims

Check your policy, excess and any approved-repairer requirements before you book. We don’t handle claims and can’t promise your insurer will cover the work.

7. Your enquiry and being contacted

When you submit an enquiry you confirm that your details are accurate and that you are entitled to arrange work on the vehicle. You agree that we may share your details with one or more Partners, and that we or a Partner may contact you by phone, text or email about your enquiry. We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We only send marketing messages with your consent, and you can opt out at any time. Calls you make to us about an enquiry are recorded for quality and training purposes only.

8. Images and illustrations

Some images on the Site are illustrative (including computer-generated images) and may not show actual Partners, staff or completed work.

9. Using the Site

Please use the Site lawfully. Don’t submit false or misleading enquiries, send automated or bulk submissions, scrape the Site, or interfere with how it works. We may block access if you do.

10. Intellectual property

The Site’s text, design, logos and images belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy or reuse them otherwise without our written permission.

11. Links and third-party services

The Site may link to or embed third-party services, such as Google Maps, and to Partners’ own websites. We aren’t responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

12. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other law that cannot be excluded.

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: the Site and its information are provided “as is”; we aren’t liable for the acts, omissions, quotes, workmanship or timing of any Partner; and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the Site.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows the current version, and continuing to use the Site means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Questions and complaints

Contact us on 04-974-9478 or through our contact page. For a complaint about the work itself, please contact the Partner first. If it isn’t resolved, you may be able to take it to the Disputes Tribunal.
